Margaret Archbold is a fine artist based in Glasgow. Her studio is located in the Briggait, a prominent building dating back, in parts to 1665. Painting and printmaking are main focuses with drawing firmly at the heart of her practice. Margaret also runs creative workshops providing tuition in a supportive way. The role of art as therapy is something Margaret strongly believes in.

Margaret works in her studio and also on location. She has a passion for landscape, flowers and birds.

Trained in Sculpture at Glasgow School of Art, she has been known to say that hands directly on material is a favourite escape route.
Perfect
Margaret prides herself in being organised. But secretly, she loves the aftermath of the creative process. A messy table makes for a happy artist.
